PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fuel efficiency to be improved while securing heating values of a hybrid vehicle mounted with an engine and an MG (motor generator).SOLUTION: By using required driving power of a vehicle, required heating values, power generation power, heat storage amounts to cooling water, charged fuel power, discharged power and radiation amounts from an engine 11, a system efficiency in consideration of the heating values is defined, and output of the engine 11 is determined so that the required driving power is achieved under the condition that the system efficiency is maximized. This allows the engine 11 to be operated at an operation point at which the efficiency of the overall system including the engine 11 and the MG12 is enhanced while securing the heating values. At this time, if a temperature of the cooling water is lower than a predetermined temperature, output of the MG12 is determined and output of the engine 11 is determined so that ratios of the heating values of the engine 11 relative to the power generation power become smaller as the temperature of the cooling water rises, which suppresses wasteful heat generation for heating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
