PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of controlling transmission power from a transmitter on the basis of information that depends on the charging status of an apparatus to be charged.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device according to an embodiment includes a calculation unit and a determination unit. The calculation unit detects an output current output to an apparatus to be charged or calculates output power.
