<p>A travelling wave sampler of the type having an input terminal for receiving an input signal to be sampled and first and second sampling diodes coupled at the anode and cathode respectively to the input terminal characterized by a first capacitor coupled to the input terminal, a second capacitor coupled between the first capacitor and a predetermined potential level having a capacitance that is dependent upon the potential difference across the second capacitor, an error amplifier having a first input terminal coupled to a node between the first and second capacitors and a second input terminal coupled to the cathode of the first and anode of the second diodes, and capacitor bias means coupled between the output of the error amplifier and the node for adjusting the potential difference across the second capacitor. <IMAGE></p> |
