<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of correction of an input position and to thin the device by adding tablet function to a matrix type flat display and constituting them integrally, and plotting and displaying a position (information) depressed with a conductive input pen as it is. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a tablet X coordinate detection scanning electrode 9 for forming a third scanning line so as to be orthogonal to a line scanning liquid crystal Y scanning electrode 8 (a second scanning line) for executing liquid crystal driving on the upper transparent glass or film substrate 4, and covering it with a transparent protective film 11. That is, the device consists of an input display integral type constitution which can plot and display a handwritten input position by a pen touch and a displayed image position on the same position by adding tablet function to a matrix driving type flat display, and a character, a graphic, etc., can be plotted by a handwritten input, and simultaneously can be displayed. In such a way, a correcting circuit for a tablet input coordinate value is not required, and also, the thickness can be thinned.</p> |
