<p>A new substance BE-13793C having chemical structure (I), pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and Streptoverticillium sp. BA-13793 as a new strain of the genus Streptoverticillium and a variant thereof. The above substance can be obtained from the culture medium of the above new strain. Since the above substance and salts thereof have an antitumor activity, they are useful for treating tumors of warm-blooded mammals including man.</p> |
