A screening unit for the screening of pulp, especially paper pulp, comprising two essentially cylindrical screen plates (12, 13), a pulp supply connection (14) and, placed after the second screen plate (13) as seen in the direction of pulp supply, an accept connection (17) for the accepted pulp fraction, and a reject connection (15, 16) placed before each screen plate. The invention is so implemented that the cylindrical screen plates (12, 13) differ in diameter and that they are mounted essentially coaxially relative to each other. |
