PURPOSE:To exactly estimate the dynamic characteristic of a control system by comparing a control response characteristic before the change and a control response characteristic after the change and deciding he stability of the present control system, when a control constant of the control system is changed. CONSTITUTION:A control constant adjusting part 27 for selecting one of controllers C1(s), C2(s) constitutes a changing means, and a p.e. (persistently existing) property monitoring part 15, a spectrum measuring part 17, a stable margin parameter setting part 21, and a stable margin calculating and deciding part 23 constitute a comparing and deciding means. When this changing means changes a control constant of a control system 7, the comparing and deciding means decides stability of the present control system by comparing a control response characteristic before the change and a control response characteristic after the change. In such a way, a dynamic characteristic of the control system 7 can be estimated exactly, and the stability of the control system 7 can be estimated and monitored automatically. |
