摘要 PURPOSE:To set optimum supply air temperature with a simplified structure by providing a bypass valve achieving opening/closing depending on supply air pressure in an supply air cooling radiator of an engine with supercharger. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust from an engine 2 is used for driving a supercharger 3 and the air is supplied through a radiator A and a carbureter 1 to the engine. The supply air of the radiator A is switched at the supply air temperature regulating valve B part to the passage in which it is cooled through the core 4 of the radiator A and the passage in which it is not cooled through an air outlet 8. A slide cylinder 11 within the supply air temperature regulating valve B is normally moved to the left by a spring 19 to close a port 10. Because the supply air pressure is low when the operating force of the supercharger is weakened, the cylinder 11 is positioned at a position as shown in the figure and the supply air is discharged from a port 17 to the air outlet 8 and is supplied to the engine without being cooled. The supply air temperature is raised as the supply air pressure in the supercharger increases. In this case, the cylinder 11 is moved to the right by the supercharging pressure, the supply air is supplied from the port 10 to the core 4 and is supplied to the engine after being fully cooled.
