PURPOSE:To develop interlaminar slippage in laminate at high temperature and consequently prevent wrinkles and the like from developing and contrive to stabilize the quality of the formed material concerned by a method wherein prepregs, which are laminated to one another in the form of a plate, are pressed with a high temperature heat resistant film, both ends of which are pinched under tension with a grasping device. CONSTITUTION:A form mold 2 is fixed to the supporting face 3a of a form mold bearer 3, which is provided on a base bed 1. The positions of plate members 4a and 4b are changed so as to fall the center of a shaft 8 in line with the bending point 2a of the form mold 2 and then fixed. Next, prepregs 18, which are laminated to each other in the form of a plate, is arranged on the form mold 2. And one end side of a high temperature heat resistant film 10 is inserted in a grasping device 11, which is provided on the base 7a of one frame 7, while its other end side is inserted in a grasping device 11, which is provided on the base 7a of the other frame 7 so as to pinch the film in order to cover the prepregs 18. Next, when the prepregs 18 are heated up to forming temperature, an actuating shaft 14 is turned. By the turning of the shaft, frames 7 are pivoted about the shafts 8 through a timing belt 16 to the directions indicated with the arrows B in order to gradually form the prepregs 18 starting from the bending point 2a of the form mold 2 so as to conform to the forming surface by means of the film 10 disposed in tension. |
