PURPOSE:To obviate the supply of preformed beads to a hopper and consequently improve the productivity of the machine by providing a blower, which sucks the prefoamed beads from a large capacity prefoamed bead storage provided far from a foam molding machine into the material feeding part of the foam molding machine by means of the negative pressure of air and, at the same time, fills the beads in a cavity. CONSTITUTION:Four molding material feeding parts 34 are disposed in an array on the upper side of a fixed mold structure 3. To each molding material feeding part 34, prefoamed beads are fed from a silo-shaped large capacity prefoamed bead storage (or raw material storage) 35 through a main feed duct 36, a manifold (or distributing pipe fitting) 37, each sub-feed duct 38 and each suction port 39. And, when air is fed from a blower 40 to each nozzle pipe part 44, the prefoamed beads, which are sucked through the suction port 39 by means of the negative pressure developed at both the throttled part of the nozzle pipe part 44 and the throttled part of each raw material receiving pipe part 46, are fed and filled into a cavity 33 through an opened check valve means, the raw material receiving pipe part 56 and each vertical pipe part 45. |
