PURPOSE:To improve a photosensitivity and electrostatic charge characteristic by using the photosensitive toner which has a specified level or below of the surface dye concn. of quinone dyes. CONSTITUTION:The toner is colored by the dye mixture composed of the three colors (cyan, magenta and yellow) of the quinone systems without having functional groups and the concn. of the dyes on the toner surface is confined to <=80wt.% of the total dye concn. The quantity of the light with which a photoconductive material is irradiated is thereby prevented from decreasing. In addition, the electrostatic charge quantity at the time of triboelectrostatic charge is prevented from attenuating and the electrostatic charge stability from degrading. Good images are hardly obtainable if the dye concn. is higher than 80wt.% in this case. The colorability, photosensitivity and electrostatic chargeability by each toner are uniformized in this way. |
