PURPOSE:To obtain a stable reproduced output although the track space is decreased with high recording density, by adding a recording/reproducing gap plus a pair of erasing gaps. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd cores 33 and 34 are joined together to form a recording/reproducing gap 35 having a length prescribed by a pair of groove parts 37 and 38. Then a winding groove 36 is formed between the cores 33 and 34 to obtain the 1st head element part 31. While the 2nd head element part 32 is formed by joining the 3rd and 4th cores 39 and 40. Then a pair of erasing gaps 42 and 43 are formed with lengths prescribed by a hole part 41 provided at the center part of a junction face between the parts 31 and 32 plus a pair of groove parts 44 and 45. The parts 31 and 32 are joined together between the cores 34 and 39. Then the cores 33, 34, 39 and 40 are arranged in series; and the gaps 35, 42 and 43 are set in parallel to each other. The gaps 42 and 43 scan the part near the edge parts at both ends of a recording track which is formed by the gap 35. |
