<p>PURPOSE:To perform the replacement of a primary battery with a single unit of an IC memory card by connecting a diode in parallel to the resistance provided between a battery voltage detection terminal and the positive polarity of the primary battery and using the detection terminal as a power supply terminal. CONSTITUTION:A diode 9 is connected to in parallel to a resistance 7 which is connected between a battery voltage detection terminal 8 and the positive polarity of a primary battery 6. The power is supplied through the terminal 8 to back up the data stored in a volatile memory 3. That is, the power is supplied to an external terminal from the terminal 8 via the resistance 7 when the voltage of the battery 6 stored in a card is detected. When the battery 6 is replaced, the card is taken out of the external terminal and the external power is supplied from the terminal 8 via the diode 9 to back up the data stored in the memory 3. Thus it is possible to obtain an IC memory card where the battery 6 can be replaced in a single unit state of the card just with use of a simple tool for replacement of the battery 6.</p> |
