PURPOSE:To provide a weather strip with a structure to prevent generation of falling on a seal part even if the weather strip is bent by furnishing a trim part with a wire extending in the longitudinal direction of a weather strip in a non-contact manner with a core material, burried at the position in the vicinity of axial line in the width direction of weather strip passing the seal point between an opening/closing member and a seal part. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 5a being extrusion molded is furnished with a hollow seal part 52 having a seal wall 520 made of sponge rubber, as well as a trim part 51 made of solid rubber. The trim part 51 has a separation type core member 56 burried therein and assembled along a flange 3 formed on a door flame 10. The seal part 52 is pushed up by the peripheral edge of a door glass 4 when the seal wall 520 is closed, and the seal point positions at a point S. In this case, in the trim part 51, a wire 6 is burried at the side wall on the outside of an automobile, that is the side wall on the side of the seal part 52. The wire 6 is positioned on an axial line (a) in the width direction of weather strip passing the seal point S in a non-contact manner with the core material 56. |
