PURPOSE:To provide a rubber compsn. in which processing stability is improved by eliminating a defect that a thiazole vulcanization accelerator easily scorches, by blending rosin, an N-alkylthiophthalimide and a thiazole vulcanization accelerator with a rubber. CONSTITUTION:0.5-15pts.wt. rosin (B) having a softening point of 50-100 deg.C and an acid value of 100-200 such as wood rosin, 0.01-1.5pts.wt. N-alkylthiophthalimide (C) of the formula (wherein R is a 1-12C straight-chain or branched alkyl, cycloalkyl), and a thiazole vulcanization accelerator (D) such as 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, are blended with 100pts.wt. rubber (A) such as natural rubber or polyisoprene rubber in such a proportion as to give a weitht ratio of component C to component B of 1/5-1/20. EFFECT:Scorch-retardation effect is large. Processability of unvulcanized rubber is greatly improved. |
