<p>A rain gauge is provided in which an intermediate container (28) filled with water is placed between a funnel (23) and a dual-container pan (30), and the water collected by the funnel (23) is transferred into the pan (30) through a duct (40) by hydraulic pressure. This arrangement allows the rain gauge to continue to function in spite of the presence of debris as the debris either sinks to the bottom of the intermediate container (28) or floats on the surface of the water therein.</p> |
