PURPOSE:To prevent the inconveniences of overlapping and dropping of labels in a label take-out port by providing a label take-out detector at the time of using the stamp alone in printing article names on measuring labels by selectively using a dot printer and a stamp. CONSTITUTION:The weights of articles obtained in a balance part 1 are inputted to the body of this device. Display and an operating part and a label take-out port are provided on the front surface of the body, and the price data calculated in CPUs (a)51, (b)52 from the weight data and unit price data inputted are displayed in display devices 17, 59. The preset data, article names, etc. are printed together with the weights, unit prices and prices on a label by using the dot patterns of a character generator provided to the CPU(b)52 and by using a stamp for part of article names and the label is taken out. At the time when only the stamp is used for printing article names, it is checked from the output of a label take-out detector 14 that the label is removed and the label is conveyed and set to the next printing position, whereby the overlapping and dropping of the labels in the label take-out port are prevented. |
