<p>A thermoplastic olefinic elastomer composition prepared by dynamically curing in the presence of 0.5 to 15 parts by weight of a reactive alkylphenyl/formaldehyde resin as a curing agent a composition which comprises: (a) 100 parts by weight of a high-molecular copolymer rubber comprising an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber and having a Mooney viscosity, ML1+4(125 °C), of 40 or above when 100 parts by weight thereof is mixed with 75 parts by weight of a mineral oil softener, (b) 10 to 500 parts by weight of a crystalline ethylene/propylene block copolymer resin having a melt flow rate of 10 to 50, (c) 3 to 300 parts by weight of a mineral oil softener, and (d) 5 to 100 parts by weight of a low-molecular propylene homopolymer resin having a number average molecular weight of 2,000 to 20,000, and wherein the weight ratio of the resin (d) to the resin (b) is 0.8 or less, to thereby highly curing the rubber (a). The composition is excellent in injection moldability, appearance, mechanical properties, low anisotropy, form retention and oil resistance, and can be suitably used in automotive parts and other applications.</p> |
