PURPOSE:To surely detect the program runaway even if the program runaway caused by a skip phenomenon is generated at the time of executing a program by outputting a system resetting signal, when all processing time of all processing programs deviates from a prescribed allowable range. CONSTITUTION:The system resetting device is constituted of a kind of program operation timer circuit 20, and this program operation timer circuit 20 is constituted of an upper limit detection level storage part 11, a lower limit detection level storage part 12, a flip-flop (FF) 13, a counting part 14, an upper limit comparing part and a lower limit comparing part 16, OR gates 17, 18, and an oscillator 19. In such a state, when all processing time of all programs deviates from a prescribed allowable range, a system resetting signal SR1 is outputted. In such a manner, even if a program runaway caused by a skip phenomenon is generated at the time of executing a program, its program runaway can be detected surely, and the reliability of the whole information processing system can be improved. |
