<p>A rapid curing composition which can well exhibit its strength irrespective of variations in the chemical composition of metallurgical slag and also at low temperatures, and is readily capable of setting control and inexpensive. The composition comprises a cement component comprising portland cement and/or a mixed cement, a rapid curing component comprising 2 to 50 % by weight (inner percentage with respect to the cement component) of a mixture of 40 to 95 % by weight of pulverized metallurgical slag with 60 to 5 % by weight of type II anhydrous gypsum and 3 to 20 % by weight (also inner percentage) of an alkali metal carbonate, and a setting control agent comprising 0.1 to 5 % by weight, based on the total weight of the cement and rapid-curing components, of a retarding admixture based on an organic acid and alkali metal sulfate and/or calcium sulfate.</p> |
