<p>PURPOSE:To produce the above panel at a low cost by a method wherein transparent and thermoplastic rigid plastic plate, the front surface of which is mirror-finished and on the rear surface of which projected pattern layer is formed, is adhered through adhesive to base material and the part, which corresponds to a curved surface part, of the plastic plate is heated so as to be fixed by pressure along the curved surface of the base material to the base material. CONSTITUTION:On the rear surface of a transparent rigid polyvinyl chloride plate 2, the front surface of which is mirror-finished, projected texture pattern layer 3 is produced by screen process printing with urethane acrylate-based transparent ink and, after that, pearlessence pigment-containing acrylic urethane-based paint is applied onto the layer 3. Next, neoprene rubber adhesive is applied to the surface of a particle board, the two sides of which are worked in curved surface, and to the cut ends, to which curved surface working is applied, of the particle board and dried. After that, the rear surface, on which the projected texture pattern layer 3 is produced, of the rigid polyvinyl chloride plate 2 is pressed against the front surface of the particle board so as to temporarily join together and the parts corresponding to the cut end parts are heated with hot air and softened so as to be fixed by pressure with a rubber roll along the curved surface of the particle board to the particle board in order to obtain a mirror-finished decorative panel having curved surfaces. Thus, the low cost and efficient production of the panel concerned can be realized.</p> |
