摘要 PURPOSE:To detect the inserted state into a tubular cavity in a body-cavity of an endoscope inserting part without exerting a physical undesirable influence to the human body by providing a detecting part for inputting an induced electromotive voltage outputted from a receiving antenna, deriving a position of the receiving antenna by its strength and scanning information of a transmitting antenna and detecting the inserted state of the inserting part. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic wave is radiated from a transmitting antenna 14 to an endoscope inserting part 4 inserted into a tubular cavity in a body-cavity, and also, the transmitting antenna 14 is scanned by a scan driving circuit 17 so as to change the direction or the position to a receiving antenna 10 provided on this inserting part 4. Subsequently, by changing the electromagnetic wave receiving direction of the receiving antenna by scanning of this transmitting antenna, an induced electromotive voltage generated in the receiving antenna 10 is varied. Also, this induced electromotive voltage and scanning information of the transmitting antenna are inputted to a detecting part 12, and by the detecting part, a position of the receiving antenna 10 provided on the inserting part is derived by strength of the induced electromotive voltage generated in the receiving antenna and the scanning information of the transmitting antenna, and an inserted state into the tubular cavity of the inserting part 4 is detected.
