The present invention relate to a system and a method to monitor a status of a vehicle based on a tire tread state, capable of checking a vehicle state based on collected vehicle state information and tire information and providing the vehicle state information to a driver. The system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a vehicle data collection unit installed inside a vehicle to collect data by using data collection modules and transmit the collected data to a vehicle state information management server in real time; a vehicle tire information collection unit to collect a tire state of the vehicle by using a laser sensor and transmit the collected data to the vehicle state information management server in real time; a vehicle state information management server to process the vehicle data and the vehicle tire information transmitted from the vehicle data collection unit and the vehicle tire information collection to be able to be analyzed, stored and monitored; and a vehicle state checking monitor to monitor the data analyzed by the vehicle state information management server.
