PURPOSE:To effect stepless acceleration and/or deceleration smoothly by a method wherein the voltage of the constant time specifying integral circuit of a counting means is increased and decreased continuously between an operational lower limit voltage and a predetermined voltage by an increased/decreased voltage generating means upon startup/slowdown of a motor. CONSTITUTION:Upon the rise-up of a motor 1, a switch 16 is closed and another switch 17 is opened, then, the output of an integral circuit 18 rises gradually up and the terminal voltage of a capacitor 20 rises gradually up while the predetermined time of a monostable multivibrator 3 is shortened gradually and smoothly. The motor 1 is accelerated smoothly and the rotation of the same is stabilized at the speed of a constant speed control within a predetermined time. Upon breaking the motor 1, the switch 16 is opened and the switch 17 is closed, then, the output of the integral circuit 18 and the terminal voltage of the capacitor 20 are reduced gradually and the predetermined time of the monostable multivibrator 3 is elongated gradually and smoothly whereby the motor 1 is stopped. The output of the monostable multivibrator 3 energizes another monostable multivibrator 6 with the delay of a predetermined time to generate a trapezoidal wave by a trapezoidal wave generator 7 whereby the motor 1 is driven by a motor driving circuit 9 through a sampling gate circuit 8. |
