PURPOSE:To provide the subject uniaxially stretched polypropylene band composed of a propylene-ethylene random copolymer, an aliphatic or alicyclic-based petroleum resin and an ethylene-butene-1 random copolymer, excellent in transparency and slitting-resistance and suitable for packing. CONSTITUTION:With (A) 100 pts.wt. propylene-ethylene random copolymer synthesized by simultaneous polymerization of ethylene and propylene in the presence of a Ziegler Natta-based catalyst, (B) an aliphatic or alicyclic-based petroleum resin having <50 iodine value, >70 deg.C ring and ball softening point and >=500 average molecular weight and (C) an ethylene-butene-1 random copolymer preferably having 17-23wt.% butene content and 0.85-0.92g/cm<3> density are blended respectively in an amount of 1-10 pts.wt. The resultant composition having 0.2-3g/min MFR (ASTM-D 1238 condition L) is subjected to extrusion molding and subsequently uniaxially stretched, thus obtaining the objective uniaxially stretched band. |
