PURPOSE:To enhance long-term reliability by a method wherein a secondary cell is built in a solar cell module whose circumference is sealed with an upper- part transparent member and a lower-part member. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell element 2 is formed on a glass substrate 1 ; it is covered with a rear package 3; its circumferential part is sealed with a seal ing material 4. A secondary cell 5 is built in a module; and it is connected to the solar cell element 2 via a reverse-current preventing diode 6. In order to adjust an internal pressure inside the module, a pressure-regulating valve 8 is installed at one part of the rear package 3. When the internal pressure of the module becomes a definite pressure or higher, the valve is opened and one part of a gas inside the module is discharged to the outside. When the internal pressure of the module is dropped, the valve is closed. Thereby, the constituent member of a solar cell module is not destroyed when the internal pressure is increased. Even when the module is used outdoors for a long term, its characteristic is stable and its high reliability can be obtained. |
