<p>PURPOSE:To make the winding temperature stable for the rapidly heat losing part of the skid mark part, etc., by executing opening/closing-operation of the three-way valve, supplying the cooling water of the corrected quantity and cooling the wire material. CONSTITUTION:The most optimum rate of cooling water flow is computed for the temperature changing part of the skid mark part, etc., based on the present actually controlled flow rate and the heat loss quantity of the part of the skid mark, etc., and the arbitrary three way valve is selected and decided among plural three way valves 4a-4c which switches the rate of flow at high speed from the water cooling zone 8 to the sluice side in order to make the flow rate into computed value. And then, after passing of the heat loss part of the skid mark part, etc., the flow rate of cooling water is controlled by operating the three way valve decided in advance to the sluice side and the stability of the winding temperature can be realized.</p> |
