PURPOSE:To prevent the unifying of cores on an encapsulation process, to make the thickness of a shell desired one and to uniformize a transfer temp by specifying the particle size distribution of an inner phase. CONSTITUTION:In the inner phase of the microcapsule, a chemical compound having at least an ethylene series double bond and a photoinitiator are incorporated. By adjusting it in such a manner that the overage particle size of the inner phase particles is <=5-15mum at a number means value and at a volume means value, and the number ratio of the particles <=3mum is <=40% and the volume ratio of >=18mum particles is <=30%, the encapsulation is conducted. When the number of the particles <=3mum is over 40% the unifying of the particles each other is generated and when the number of the particles of >=18mum is over 30%, the transfer ratio is degreased. Also when the average particle size is less than the value, the desired image density is not obtained and when it is over the value, the image resolution is decreased. |
