PURPOSE:To make a display in the same color with that before a color filter substrate for batch sticking even when the substrate is rotated by specifying the coloring position relation of color filters. CONSTITUTION:The color filters 4a - 4c are arranged as shown by color filter division substrates 3a and 3b. Consequently, even when the color filter substrate for batch sticking is rotated by 180 deg., red corresponds to red, green to green, and blue to blue, so a display in exactly the same color with that before the rotation is made. If a substrate 3a in the upper stage of the color filter substrate 1 for batch sticking is defective and an electrode substrate 5b in the lower stage of the electrode substrate 2 for batch sticking is defective, two surfaces become defective after they are stuck together, but the color filter 1 for batch sticking is rotated by 180 deg. and the display panel of the upper stage becomes conforming, so that exactly the same color with that before the rotation is displayed. |
