In manufacturing the insole from a resin sheet bonded with a napped fabric covering on a side, the resin sheet is composed of latex resin including a foaming agent and being coated in a certain thickness over a napped fabric sheet. The coated sheet is then semivulcanized to be cut into half-products, which are head- pressed for complete vulcanization to be formed into a certain shape of insole. The product shows an improved cushion, air permeability, and absorbancy for moisture and odor which are released into air upon taking off the shoes.
