摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform a uniform temperature control with high reproducibility to realize a high-quality recording by a method wherein a heating resistor is provided with a self-temperature control function which prevents a temperature increase above a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:On a glazed substrate 6 made of an alumina ceramic or the like, a thin-fim heating resistor 1 is provided which is made of a material having electroconductive characteristics like a metal or a semiconductor respectively on the lower or higher side of about 150 deg.C. One end of the heating resistor is connected to a discrete electrode 2, and the other end is connected to a first common electrode 3. The discrete electrode 2 is connected a current switching element 4, such as a transistor. A second common electrode 5 is also connected to the current switching element 4. A positive electric potential is applied to the first common electrode 3, a negative electric potential is applied to the second electrode 5, and the switching element 4 is opened or closed. In this manner, by applying a voltage pulse to the heating resistor 1, the applied voltage causes a proper power demand to occur in accordance with the resistance value of the heating resistor to generate Joule heat, and the heating element 1 initiates its temperature increase.</p>
