PURPOSE:To enable the stop-and-go driving which repeats stop and start in a delay travelling only with brake operation by controlling the engine output and a transmitting mechanism so as to start and travel at low speed with a slow-travelling mode when a brake is not operated. CONSTITUTION:When a driver turns a slow-travelling mode setting switch 10 on to input a desired target speed to a slow-travelling speed setting device 23, a display device 14 displays a change to the slow-travelling mode. In the case that the driver does not operate a brake, a driving force control device 20 is controlled with the command signal SC output on the basis of the control method with a program of a computer unit 2 independently from the existence of the operation of an acceleration pedal, and the speed of a vehicle is adjusted so as to coincide with a slow-travelling speed set value. On the other hand, the driver operates the brake pedal, the computer unit 2 outputs the driving force lowering signal to the driving force control device 20 on the basis of the signal SB from a brake switch 21. |
