PURPOSE:To permanently prevent the lowering of printing quality by mounting a destaticizing brush separating the dust bonded to the image receiving layer of image receiving paper and a dust removing apparatus sucking the separated dust to discharge the same to the outside. CONSTITUTION:In the forward path of image receiving paper 1, a dust removing apparatus 11 is retracted by a solenoid so that the image receiving layer 1b of the image receiving paper 1 and a destaticizing brush 13 are not brought to a mutual contact state and, in the backward path of the image receiving paper 1, the dust removing apparatus 11 moves the destaticizing brush 13 to the position coming into contact with the surface of the image receiving layer 1b. In this state, the fiber refuse and other dust bonded to the surface of the image receiving layer 1b are destaticized by the destaticizing brush 13 to be attracted to the destaticizing brush and also mechanically separated from the surface of the image receiving layer 1b by brushing action to be suspended in air. The dust is discharged to the outside as a sucked air stream from an air suction hole 14 by an exhaust duct. |
