PURPOSE:To prevent the illegal use of an information medium by collating detected fingerprint information and stored fingerprint information and executing the control of the carry processing of a transaction medium based on a collated result. CONSTITUTION:When an information medium with fingerprints is taken in, a fingerprint detecting means 11 of the device detects the fingerprints on the information medium. Next, a fingerprint collating means 17 of the device executes the collation of fingerprint information detected by the fingerprint detecting means 11 and the fingerprint information of specified persons stored in a fingerprint storing means 14 in advance and transmits a collated result. Next, a control means 16 of the device executes the control of the carry processing of the information medium within the device based on the collated result from the fingerprint collating means 17, and executes the carry processing when it is the proper information medium or the control corresponding to it when it is illegal information medium. Thus, the illegal use of the information medium can be found precisely and the illegal use can be prevented. |
