<p>PURPOSE:To enable a changeover to a fast forward reproducing mode and an operation mode control on an external connected device by discriminating a difference between an audio mode of a broadcasting program concerned and an audio mode of a commercial and recording a control signal with a different duty ratio only for a section of the commercial. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recording, the difference between the audio mode of the broadcast concerned and the audio mode of the commercial broadcast is detected by a microcomputer 11 from identification signals ST and BI to be inputted from a multiplex audio signal demodulation circuit 3, and the duty ratio of the control signal is changed only for the section of the commercial broadcast to be recorded and reproduced, and is recorded on a magnetic tape. Then, at the time of reproducing, the change of the duty of the control signal is detected, and the VTR 20 is changed to the fast forward reproducing mode only for the recording section of the commercial, and at the same time, an external control signal for changing the mode of a subordinate VTR 30 over to a pause mode is sent out. By this method, at the time of reproducing, the fast forward reproducing mode can automatically be effected on the commercial recording section, while the subordinate VTR 30 can be operated to record an edit with the commercial recording section cut off automatically.</p> |
