PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. giving a molded article having a high resistance to impact caused by a high-speed die cutting, good surface properties, and a high weld strength by compounding a resin compsn. comprising a specific polyarylate and a polyamide with a modified polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. resin compsn. comprising 20-80wt.% polyarylate having acid chloride groups and 80-20wt.% polyamide is compounded with 1-40 pts.wt. modified polyolefin to give the title compsn. The acid chloride value of the polyarylate is pref. 2X10<-6>-50X10<-6> equivalent/g. As the polyarylate, an arom. polyester comprising bisphenol A and tere- and/or isophthalic acid is pref. Pref. examples of the modified polyolefin are an olefinic copolymer having acid anhydride groups, an epoxidized olefinic copolymer, and a mixture of these copolymers. |
