Goggles.-A device for enabling the wearer to avoid dazzle from motor-car headlights &c. comprises two opaque or slightly translucent screens arranged in front of the eyes and so shaped and disposed as to provide an unrestricted field of view with the exception of a triangular obscured zone in the upper part of the field of view and to one side of the centre of the field, the lights being brought into the obscured zone by movement of the head. The Figs. show two forms in which the screens are mounted in spectacle frames, the opaque parts being shaded.
