PURPOSE:To position a passbook with high accuracy by a method wherein the passbook is positioned by a pressing force of passbook pressing means and taper-form feed rollers toward reference members, and the reference members corresponding to respective stop positions at this time are disposed oppositely to each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide plates 17 and 18 are disposed on the sides of a feed path 12 oppositely to each other. A passbook 11 is fed while being shifted and pressed toward the guide plates 17 and 18 by the pressing force of leaf springs 20 and 21 and the width-shifting action of taper-form feed rollers 22 and 23. On the feed path of the passbook from one recording/regenerating stop position 13(14) to the other recording/regenerating stop position 14(13), the width-shifting direction of the passbook 11 is changed toward the opposite side. In this manner, the passbook 11 is positioned to the respective passbook stop positions 13, 14 with high accuracy, because one end face of the passbook 11 is pressed against the guide plates 17, 18. |
