The present invention relates to a fastener and to a method for quick and blind mounting of a sun visor implementing this device. Fastener, characterised in that it mainly consists, on the one hand, of a male part (1) composed of a base plate (3) and of a mounting plate (3) which are mounted on a rod (5), in abutment against a shoulder (7) and assembled by pressure by means of a sprung element (6) connected, in its rotational movements, to the rod (5) and bearing on the mounting plate (4) via a tongue (13) and, on the other hand, of a female element produced in a fastening support (9), the mounting plate (4) including a projection (14) in the form of a ramp, allowing the said mounting plate (4) to be driven in terms of rotation when the said tongue (13) is bearing against the said ramp (14), by means of the application, at the rod (5) area, of a first torque the value of which is greater than the resistive frictional torque of the fastening device, into a locking position, the consecutive application of a second torque, the value of which is greater than the first having the effect of making the tongue (13) move off the end of the ramp (14) and locking the male part (1) of the said fastener in the mounted position. <IMAGE>
