PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable as outdoor materials, having excellent low-temperature impact resistance, weather resistance, rigidity and flame retardance by blending a specific polyethylene resin with a bromine-containing flame-retardant, antimony trioxide, carbon black and a light stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. polyethylene resin having 0.02-5.5/10 minutes melt index and 0.940-0.969g/cm<3> density is blended with (B) 1-25 pts.wt. bromine- containing flame retardant, (C) 0.2-15 pts.wt. antimony trioxide and (D) 0.001-5 pts.wt. light stabilizer and/or carbon black. A biphenyl-based addition type bromine-containing flame retardant such as decabromodiphenyl oxide is preferable as the component B and the component C has preferably 0.3-0.7mum average particle diameter. |
