Food products which dissolve gradually in an aqueous medium are principally made up of a mixture of a fish protein hydrolysate enriched with lipids and nutriments such as, in particular, fish viscera concentrates, micronised crustacean carapace (shell) powder, microorganisms, seaweed (algae) powder, vitamins or mineral salts, the said mixture being coated with casein. These products may be obtained using a method in which the protein hydrolysate is mixed with the nutriments and the resulting mixture is then mixed with an aqueous solution of casein prepared beforehand. These products may be used for feeding aquatic animals, in particular molluscs, Crustacea and Echinidea (sea urchins). |
