PURPOSE:To obtain strong, beautiful and stony tiles, by blending a (colorless) colored inorganic material for the ceramic industry with a specific feldspar to give a raw material for tile, molding and burning the molded raw material in a roller house kiln for a short time. CONSTITUTION:A (colorless) colored inorganic material for the ceramic industry, such as granulated material prepared by spray drying, a molded article thereof or ground material thereof is blended with 3-45wt.% feldspar having <=1,200mum particle diameter and optionally inorganic pigment having about 10mum average particle diameter in a dry state to give a raw material for tile. Then, the raw material is molded into a desired shape, fed to a roller house kiln and burnt at 1,180-1,280 deg.C for 45-120 minutes. |
