PURPOSE:To obtain a signal having excellent picture quality from an image pickup element by forming flickers of prescribed frequency capable of adjust phase and amplitude with circuit and eliminating flickers generated from a solid-stage image pickup element by the above flickers. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state color image pickup device is constituted of horizontal 4 picture elements provided on plural photoelectric conversion elements arranged in two dimensions, a color filter of vertical 2 picture element period, groups of horizontal and vertical switching elements that scan photoelectric conversion element and readout respective color signals, and a device that adds respective readout colors to obtain luminance signals. Horizontal flicker pulses of 1,8MHz shifted by 90 deg. phase generating by said solid state image pickup device are added to both ends of variable resistors 20, 21 and pulses variable in amplitude to positive and negative from the center are outputted. These are synthesized with resistors 22, 23 and flicker pulses of 1.8MHz are generated at an output terminal 25 through an LPF24. Pulses adjusted to the same amplitude and opposite phase are provided into luminance signals to output signal having excellent picture quality. |
