PURPOSE:To execute a sufficient rolling for width with a compact equipment and without buckling a band plate by providing a roll for rolling width with an inclination respectively on both sides of the middle bending roll. CONSTITUTION:Width rolling is executed in the state where the roll 1 for rolling width is inclined to increase the buckling strength in the inside direction of bending. That is, when the roll 1 for rolling width is inclined, a friction force toward the outside of bending is generated in accordance with the rolling reaction force. Buckling in the inside direction is prevented by this friction force, thus buckling strength is improved. |
