PURPOSE:To maintain satisfactory talk quality and to prevent the malfunction of a set function even when radio waves to a base unit is stronger than another hand set by positioning one hand set near the base unit in the case of an extension talk while keeping channels to be respectively used by plural hand sets at more than fixed intervals. CONSTITUTION:When more than two hand sets execute a talk operation for the extension talk or the like, these use channels are controlled to be kept at more than the fixed intervals. For example, a channel A lower than a center channel, which is specified in advance, is set to one hand set 2a and a channel B higher than this center channel is set to another hand set 2b. On the other hand, the channel is set at random to the hand set to be used when there is no other hand set under the talk, and the channel as far as possible from the channel under use is set to the hand set to be used later. Thus, one hand set 2a is close to a base unit 1 and even when the radio waves to the base unit 1 are much stronger than the other hand set 2b at a distant place, the interference of the radio wave from the hand set 2a near the base unit 1 to the hand set 2b at the distant place is widely reduced. |
