The plug coupling (10) for attaching a hose or pipe to a mounting consists of a coupling-housing (12) in which is a hole (13) into which the plug (11) is pressed. An axially movable fastening-sleeve (26) fits into the hole (13) and has expander pieces (24,25) which tension the wall of the coupling-housing (12) around the hole (13). The plug (11) has an outer conical part (24) tapering from the side facing away from its free end. The fastening-sleeve (26) has an inner conical part (25) matching the outer cone (24) and has lengthwise slots at least near its clamping sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - The plug of the coupling for a hose or pipe is held securely in its connected position.
