PURPOSE:To reduce useless power with less man-hour and to decrease power utility charge to be paid by providing a power supply control section sending power supply control information turning on/off a power application switch to each amplifier addressed to a desired coaxial transmission amplifier to a CATV center 10. CONSTITUTION:A power supply control section 20 of a CATV center 10 sends power supply control information turning on a power application switch for an amplifier in use to coaxial transmission amplifiers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,.... Then the coaxial transmission amplifiers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,... receive the power supply control input information addressed to themselves and uses a control section 31 to turn on each power application switch in the power application switch 30 in response to the content of the power control information. That is, no power is supplied to amplifiers not in use with less man-hour, useless power is decreased and the power charge to be paid is reduced. |
