PURPOSE:To improve the homogeneity of the thickness of an electrode and reduce the dispersion of the capacity by forming an alkaline battery negative electrode material into a sheet shape, laminating a porous conductor film on the sheet, and integrally pressurizing them. CONSTITUTION:An alkaline battery negative electrode material is formed into a sheet shape with thermoplastic resin used as a binder, a porous conductor such as expand metal, screen or punching metal is laminated on it, and they are integrally pressurized at the temperature of the softening point of the binder. Since the sheet is formed with only the paste made of the negative electrode material powder end binder, the uniform sheet is obtained, then the porous conductor and sheet are pressurized at the temperature of the softening point or above of the binder, and the sheet and porous conductor are integrated. The homogeneity of an electrode is obtained, and production is facilitated. |
