Cop conveyor system - has retention location to revolve the cop for a time until a loose end is retrieved

Cops in a transport system are mounted on separate pallets which move along a conveyor band. A control position along the system has two rollers placed edgewise to retain the pallet while it revolves. The pallet base has a rim of ferromagnetic material to actuate the controls as for arrival at the first roller. - Pref. control position (1) is formed along the conveyor band (2) which has support bars beneath, and angled side guide rails (3). These rails surround the edges of the circular pallet base (5). On this pallet (4) is mounted a vertical cop (8) by means of a pin. A ferromagnetic rim (6) surrounds the base (5). A section of the side rail (3) is removed at one side.
