PURPOSE:To attain picture magnification at high speed and at low cost by storing a picked-up picture to a picture pattern data memory and generating a magnified pattern data with a simple arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Two data of odd and even number lines of a picture pattern data memory 3 are fed to registers 10, 11 of a magnification pattern generating circuit 4 on the occurrence of magnification pattern and a magnification pattern data is generated by mean value arithmetic circuits 14-16. The output of the mean value arithmetic circuits 14-16 are fed to a magnification pattern data memory 5. Then the data in the registers 10, 11 is fed to registers 12, 13 respectively and the registers 10, 11 receives a succeeding data from the picture pattern data memory 3 again and a succeeding magnification pattern is generated by the mean value arithmetic circuits 14-16 and fed to the magnification pattern data memory 5. Thus, the magnification of a contrast picture is processed at a high speed with a simple circuit from an optional position. |
